UX Review
I conducted a UX heuristic review of an existing marketplace web page dedicated to Greek Life products. The goal was to develop a list of the top 5 user experience recommendations and a concept for an updated page.

Greek Life page to be reviewed. Notice phrases for Greek grandmas and grandpas come up first.
Beyond the apparent search function and algorithm issues that the client was already working out, there were hiccups in the navigation. With several different horizontal navigation levels, the user couldn't be sure where those links would take them, nor could they narrow search results or search for the name of a fraternity or sorority. This page gave them over 100,000 search results, though it wasn't displayed anywhere on the page. I created a presentation outlining the thought process, research, and the recommendations I ultimately made.

After reviewing the page against some practical usability golden rules and organizing those usability issues based on a user pain scale, I made the Top 5 list. I then encouraged further user research to delve a bit deeper into these types of shoppers' behavior. This presentation was a great way to get different teams to ask questions and discuss different approaches based on what they learned.
